About Me

I'm a junior at the University of Michigan majoring in Information with a focus in UX design. On campus, I'm involved in a tech consulting club, Reach Consulting Group, and The Michigan Daily, the university's campus newspaper. I do UX design and web development work for these organizations. A topic that interests me greatly at the moment is dark patterns on social media platforms and how they affect people's actions in the real world.

Outside of school, I'm very passionate about climbing, cooking, hiking, photography, travel, and mechanical keyboards. I love great design, whether that be appealing aesthetics or exceptional usability/accessibility. As a result, I'm always searching for things in my everyday life to inspire my work!

Some extra stuff I've worked on

UofM Event Calendar

This was my final project for SI 379: Building Interactive Apps. It is a calendar showing all of the social events happening around campus when you click on each day. Built using HTML, CSS, JS, and UofM's events feed which can be found here.

The Miseducation Project

When I did web development work at The Michigan Daily, I helped build this custom web page that highlights art by creators of color at UofM. Built using Next.js
